Forklift Training

RTO’s who operate forklift training in Melbourne, along with WorkSafe testing for accredited forklift operations testing, may have the facilities to offer training and testing at the location of your choice, no matter how many or few people you need trained and certified.
Refresher courses for experienced certified operators and intensive training for brand-new operators with new experience are offered by some RTO’s. Trainers will use your own equipment to test and train your staff, so that they can see what they will have to use on a daily basis and you can see their skills on said equipment.
Trainers may offer training and testing on your site because according to Duty of Care regulations you need to be certain of your operators’ ability to operate your machinery competently.  It is highly recommended that every forklift operator go through a refresher training course every one to two years, to show that they still have the skills to keep themselves and others safe in their work environment.  Most RTO’s offer training courses that can be customized to meet your company’s specific work conditions and needs.
All operators undergoing testing for a forklift licence will go through a theory portion of class to teach safety and regulations of forklift operation.  Most training centres can schedule more hours for newer operators who need more classroom teaching.
